This Privacy Policy describes how Histy Inc. (“Histy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Histy mobile application (the “App”).
By using Histy, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What we do
Histy is a mobile puzzle game in which users learn history by placing events on a timeline.
We do not require users to create an account and we do not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other contact information inside the App.
3. Information we collect
We collect only limited information necessary to operate and improve the App:
Usage and gameplay data
In-game progress (e.g., completed levels, scores, achievements).
How you interact with the App (e.g., screens visited, time spent in the game, general engagement statistics).
This data does not include your name or contact details.
Device and technical data
Device model, operating system version, app version.
Technical logs and crash data.
Approximate region (country/region) based on IP or system settings, used for analytics and localization.
Subscription and purchase information
Information about your in-app subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly) and purchases, as provided by Apple.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details. All billing is handled by Apple via the App Store.
We do not collect:
precise GPS location,
photos, camera data, microphone audio,
contacts, calendar, or other device content,
user-generated content such as chats or uploaded files.
4. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
Operate and provide the core functionality of the App.
Save and show your in-game progress and performance.
Monitor performance and fix bugs and crashes.
Analyze how users interact with Histy to improve the game experience, difficulty balance, and content.
Detect and prevent fraud and abuse (for example, cheating or automated use).
5. Analytics and third-party services
We use third-party services to help us understand how Histy is used and to manage subscriptions:
Amplitude – product analytics (usage statistics, engagement, retention).
Apphud – subscription and in-app purchase management and analytics.
These services may process:
device identifiers,
technical data (device model, OS, app version),
usage data (screens, sessions, events),
subscription status (active/expired, type of subscription).
We do not use advertising SDKs and we do not show third-party ads inside the App.
6. Children and minors
Histy is designed for a general audience and can be used by children together with or without their parents.
We do not knowingly collect personal contact information (such as name or email) from children. Data we collect through analytics is technical and usage-based and is not used to contact users directly.
If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in a way that is not allowed by law, please contact us at ceo@histygame.com, and we will review and take appropriate action.
7. How we share information
We may share information in the following limited situations:
Service providers. With third-party service providers such as Amplitude and Apphud, solely to help us operate, analyze, and support the App.
Apple. With Apple as necessary for processing in-app subscriptions and complying with App Store requirements.
Legal reasons. If required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property and that of our users.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Data retention
We keep data for as long as it is reasonably necessary to:
operate Histy,
maintain analytics and service security,
comply with our legal obligations.
Because we do not create personal accounts and store mainly technical and analytics data, the information we process is either anonymized or pseudonymized and generally cannot be directly linked to an identifiable person by us.
9. Your rights and choices
Even though we do not ask for your name or email inside the App, you may still:
Contact us: If you have questions about the data we process or want us to review or limit certain data where reasonably possible.
Limit data via your device and Apple settings:
You can control analytics and personalized services through your device privacy settings and Apple settings.
You can uninstall the App at any time, which stops further data collection from your device.
If you contact us at ceo@histygame.com, please describe your request in as much detail as possible. Due to the anonymous and aggregated nature of our analytics, in some cases we may not be able to identify and delete data tied to a specific user, but we will do our best within technical and legal limitations.
10. International data transfers
Our servers and third-party service providers may be located in different countries. By using Histy, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. The updated version will be effective as soon as it is posted.
